Introduction to Burlesque Workshop

Service Description

See your confidence grow as you build your Burlesque alter ego's. Develop character, dance skills, confidence & performance skills with a supportive group of women. In a nurturing environment, you will learn the art of tease, strip peels, choreography, posing, & prop work. All whilst building that essential body confidence we all deserve to have (with a lot of laughter along the way)! Our easy going, relaxed class will allow everyone to feel comfortable expressing themselves through burlesque. We will set ourselves a mini goal for the start of the session. Whether you want to feel more confident on camera, or work towards finally getting out that booby top you've always wanted to wear in public, the group will work through their individual challenges and support each other on the way. We will explore two Burlesque and dance styles and learn those essential basic kit peels needed for every Burly performance, we will look at gloves and stocking peels (will be provided unless students choose to use their own). This will be a great start to head into our 6 week Burlesque Courses if you enjoy it. The workshop will be two hours with a 10 minute water break in the middle where you can ask any questions you may have about burlesque. With our incredible Haus of Valentine Troupe taking the scene by storm after only 1 year of learning Burlesque, our girls show just how much of an incredible impact Burlesque can have on your confidence, fitness & lifestyle. Most importantly it can bring the most incredible group of supportive women into your life! *One off payment covers single 2 hour workshop.
